ALL members of the 9th Memorial Cavalry are responsible for obtaining and keeping up their own uniform items. We CANNOT issue most parts of the uniform.
These uniforms are to be kept as clean as possible. If an item begins to wear out, REPLACE IT IMMEDIATELY. We MUST look as sharp as possible to the public.

NOTE: Look around for a 30/40 Krag carbine. A converted rifle is your best bet, as the original carbines are very costly. This is a VITAL piece of equipment, so do your best. This should be in working condition, and have the ring on the side. See Bill McCurtis for modification of rifle to carbine.
